Features
What are dust collection systems and dust collectors?

1.    Usually, there are many ash outlets for building materials or industrial equipment such as dry powder mortar production lines and sand production lines.

2.    For the sake of environmental protection and health requirements, dust collection hoods must be installed at each ash outlet. Then the dust-laden gas is transported to the dust removal device through the pipeline connected to the dust collection hood, where the gas-solid separation is performed, and the dust is collected in the dust removal device. Ultimately, the cleaned gas is introduced into the header or vented directly to atmosphere.

3.    This whole set of equipment is the dust removal system, and the dust collector is an important part of the system.

4.    To put it simply, a dust collector is a device that separates dust from flue gas.

Introduction to BH dust collector

1.    The pulse dust collector developed and manufactured by BH Company belongs to the filtration type dust collector, which is the most efficient category of dust collectors.

2.    It combines the advantages of various pulse jet dust collectors, overcomes the shortcomings of insufficient cleaning intensity in separate chambers and uneven airflow distribution, and expands the applicability range.

3.    The performance of the dust collector is expressed in terms of the gas volume it can handle, the resistance loss when the gas passes through the dust collector, and the dust removal efficiency.

4.    BH Company's dust collector has a dust removal efficiency of 99.9% and a resistance loss of 1200 to 1700 Pa. The specific gas handling capacity can be found in the parameter section below.

Application range of BH pulse dust collector

1. The pulse dust collector produced by BH Company is widely used for the purification of dusty gases and material recovery in industries such as metallurgy, construction materials, cement, machinery, chemical, power, and light industries.
2. Example application scenarios include dry mortar production sites, industrial rotary dryer workplaces, sand making machine workplaces, and grinding machine workplaces.

How to choose a dust collector?

There are many types of dust collectors. When choosing a dust collector, various necessary factors must be comprehensively considered, such as dust removal efficiency, pressure loss, reliability, one-time investment, floor area, maintenance management and other factors. At the same time, according to the actual situation such as the physical and chemical properties and characteristics of the smoke and the requirements of the production process, the dust collector is selected in a targeted manner.

You can leave us your project information, questions or contact information, and the professional equipment engineers of BH Company will answer you for free.

dust collector

First of all, the selected dust collector must meet the requirements of emission standards.

Secondly, you can choose a dust collector according to the following points:

1.    According to the requirements of dust removal efficiency

•     Different dust collectors have different dust removal efficiencies.

•     During normal operation, the order of efficiency of the dust collector is: bag filter, electric dust collector, cyclone dust collector, inertial dust collector, gravity dust collector.

•     BH new high-efficiency pulse dust collector, the dust removal efficiency is as high as 99.9 % .

2.    According to gas properties

•     When choosing a dust collector, factors such as air volume, temperature, composition, and humidity of the gas must be considered.

•     The electrostatic precipitator is suitable for flue gas purification with large air volume and temperature <400°C.

•     The bag filter is suitable for flue gas purification at a temperature of <260°C, and is not limited by the amount of flue gas. When the temperature is ≥260°C, the flue gas should be cooled before using the bag filter. The bag filter is not suitable for flue gas purification with high humidity and oily pollution.

•     Wet dust collector is suitable for dealing with flammable and explosive gas purification (such as gas).

•     The processing air volume of the cyclone dust collector is limited. When the air volume is large, multiple dust collectors can be connected in parallel.

3.    According to the nature of the dust

•     Dust properties include specific resistance, particle size, true density, etc.

•     Electric dust collector should not be used for dust with too large or too small specific resistance, bag filter is not affected by dust specific resistance.

•     The concentration and particle size of the dust have a significant effect on the efficiency of the electrostatic precipitator, but not significantly on the effect of the bag filter.

•     The type of bag filter, dust cleaning method and filtering wind speed depend on the nature of dry dust.

4.    According to pressure loss and energy consumption

•     The resistance of the bag filter is larger than that of the electrostatic precipitator, but compared with the overall energy consumption of the dust collector, the energy consumption of the two is not much different.

5.    According to equipment investment and operating costs

•     It depends on the client's current investment plan.

6.    Dust and gas recycling requirements

•     When the dust has recycling value, dry dust removal should be adopted.

•      When the dust has a high recovery value, it is advisable to use a bag filter.

•     When the purified gas needs to be recycled or the purified air needs to be recycled, a high-efficiency bag filter should be used.

Features of BH high efficiency dust collector

1.    Small footprint: The volume of the pulse bag filter is relatively smaller, which saves the footprint and improves the use efficiency.

2.    Good effect of dust removal: adopting the pulse soot blowing technology with air stop in different chambers, the purpose of dust removal can be achieved by one blowing, which is energy-saving and high-efficiency.

3.    Easy maintenance: the pulse bag filter adopts the vacuum technology of separate rooms, which makes it possible to carry out maintenance and replacement of bags in separate rooms under the condition of non-stop system fan and normal operation of the system.

4.    Integrate all the advantages you value in one body: the pulse bag filter adopts the chamber-stop wind pulse jet dust removal technology, which overcomes the shortcomings of conventional pulse dust collectors and chamber back-blowing dust collectors, and has strong dust removal ability and dust removal efficiency. High, low emission concentration, low air leakage rate, low energy consumption, low steel consumption, small footprint, stable and reliable operation, and good economic benefits.

Component/Working Principle
Working principle of pulse dust collector
The pulse dust collector refers to the removal of dust attached to the filter medium (bag or filter cartridge) by blowing compressed air.

The operation process of the dust collector is as follows:

1.    Feed air flow: Dusty gas enters the dust collector.

2.    Filter bag capture: Particles are captured by the filter bag.

3.    Blockage of filter bags: Dust accumulation causes pressure to rise.

4.    Pulse cleaning: compressed air sprays the filter bag.

5.    Dust material discharge: the collected dust material is discharged from the dust collector.
